What would you do if you had a technology so advanced able to control people?

The most logical response to this question would be that you will help people to make their lives easier, but not everything is so easy. The answer depends on the values you learn along with your life and ethics that you keep to determine your decisions.

If by chance, you think that you would use the technology to control people is not a right decision since your selfishness goes against the common good, therefore is bad. Especially, when you use technology does not have to prevail your personal interest since the technology was born in basic of the needs and aims to protect the integrity of the people.

Finally, if you think that evil actions are justified for technological advances, not need mention the dangers of the misuse of technology.  

Dangers of technology

The misuse of technology leads to a great danger that threatens everyone. In the economic aspect, today criminals steal to people through technology. In politics, the hackers of information have access to secret documentaries of each country. Moreover, the violation of privacy threatens all persons, also, there is a new form of aggression as the cyber bullying. In addition, the dependence on technology leads to be prone to many diseases. Finally, the technology often pollutes excessively world.

Relationship between ethics and technology

Technology is a set of technical knowledge which allows creating goods and services that facilitate the adaptation to society and meet our needs.

Ethics allows you to orient the human behavior on the use of technology and teaches us how to behave correctly in situations involving the self-serving and others.

However, the digital divide makes it impossible for everyone to have access to the same technology so that there is equality of opportunity.

How does technology change society?

Currently, the technology is changing society in political, economic, social and cultural aspects. Many of the things that were previously believed little likely today is a reality. Most of our daily activities are carried out with the help of technology.

However, the use of technology depends on many factors, even only a certain class of people have access to technological products. On the one hand, people use technology as a tool of destruction and power. On the contrary, it is a very useful tool in education and the media. Therefore, the following question arises: is there an ethical awareness of the appropriate use of technology?
